This summer, the Estonian Stockpiling Agency (ESPA) joined the Paldiski Association of Entrepreneurs to work together with other companies with the aim of promoting the business and living environment of the region. The ESPA is the owner of the Port of Pakrineeme, located on the territory of the city of Paldiski, built for the reception of liquefied natural gas.

‘Although the Port of Pakrineeme is primarily part of the gas security infrastructure, the ESPA is constantly looking for different ways to make this investment profitable. There are several companies in the Paldiski region that are potentially interested in collaborating in the port. Working as a common association ensures that information flows better and there are more points of contact.

The Paldiski Association of Entrepreneurs is an active and well-managed organisation that is able to stand up for the interests of its members and contribute to the development of the community,’ said Ando Leppiman, Chairman of the Management Board of the ESPA.

The goal of the association, founded in 2010, is to contribute to making the business environment of the city of Paldiski and the entire Lääne-Harju rural municipality more active. The association unites 15 companies and local governments operating in Lääne-Harju rural municipality and Paldiski.
